Junior Manager, Product Placement Marketing

This position provides the opportunity to learn about and become involved with culture marketing initiatives in the entertainment industry. The company is a fast-paced marketing firm, with nationally recognized clients. We are looking for energetic, self-motivated individuals who want to grow with us. You must be computer savvy and have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a busy environment. Some travel is required. Only Los Angeles based candidates will be considered.

General Job Description:

  • Research and monitor upcoming & new productions, film schedules, opinion leaders and industry developments to identify potential areas of opportunity
  • Manage product logistics including coordinating shipments, organizing inventory, and tracking deliveries
  • Handle administrative and project coordination tasks, including maintaining contact lists, updating weekly internal logs and outreach databases.
  • Responsible for boxing and facilitating sending product via Fed Ex, messengers & personal deliveries.
  • Scan traditional and digital content for product placements and document results.
  • Contribute to the development of product placement strategies by staying informed on shifts in the entertainment and brand landscape, and bringing fresh insights to help evolve our approach over time.
  • Assist third party event logistics team when required.
  • Appropriately assisting on site at events and facilitating other event related needs.
  • Attending and contributing to departmental and company staff meetings as well as any other company required events, conferences, brainstorming meetings, etc.
  • Coordinating and overseeing the internship program to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Utilizing the company vehicle to facilitate deliveries and pick-ups.
  • Following basic office policies and procedures as outlined by HR and found in the employee handbook.

An ideal candidate should have:

  • Previous on-set and agency experience a plus, but not required.
  • An interest in marketing specifically in the areas of entertainment and product placement.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple moving parts, timelines & product deliveries.
  • Ability to problem solve and multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work outside of the 9-5 realm.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive work ethic, takes initiative, and solves problems independently.
  • High proficiency in the complete Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.) and excellent understanding of utilizing online and network-based tools for research purposes.
  • Ability to conduct themselves in the highest quality standards in all public settings.
  • Hard worker and driven, willingness to be hands-on, including physical product handling.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work well with the team.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Marketing Intern – Culture Marketing

We are seeking a Marketing Intern who has an interest in the field of Entertainment Culture Marketing and Events. We work in all areas of culture including: Entertainment, Product Placement & Digital Entertainment. The company is fast paced, with a cutting edge client and we are looking for energetic, self-motivated individuals who want to gain experience in the area of Opinion Leader Culture Marketing.

General Job Description:

  • Researching and identifying new events, opinion leaders and industry areas of opportunity in Entertainment & Digital Media.
  • Administrative duties including assisting with daily outreach requests via Fed Ex preparation & in-person deliveries, marketing reports, press clippings and contact database management.
  • Scanning social media, press outlets and TV & film for product placement
  • Maintaining and keeping proper records of inventory including supplies, FedEx, product, etc.
  • Assist with deliveries and event setup. Some lifting and moving of equipment/infrastructure as needed. Must be able to lift 20lbs+ at a time, as needed.
  • General office assistance with answering phones, covering reception desk and other office related duties.
  • Attending and contributing to company staff meetings as well as any other company required events, brainstorming meetings, etc. 
  • Attend/Work various events with the staff as needed.
  • Following basic office policies and procedures as outlined by HR and found in the employee handbook.

An ideal candidate should have: 

  • Comprehensive understanding of social media, Google alerts and press searching.
  • An interest in marketing specifically in the areas of entertainment
  • Knowledge of the entertainment/music industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Los Angeles area
  • You must be computer savvy (MS Office) with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and strong organization skills.
  • Ability to conduct themselves in the highest quality standards in all public settings.
